Now that im near done with the decks/floor im about to start building the light rail.
I plan on just a simple rail out of 1" square aluminum tube with Six 400 HPS in custom housings.
After doing a few measurements im not sure exactly how I want to pisition the lights now. Original plan was to have the troller in the middle straight off the point of the bow with the rails running from the troller across the angled from and down the sides about to the back of the front deck. I planned on two lights up from, one on each side in the middle of the angle then two lights on each side after the angle.
Problem im seeing and questions I have.....
Those angles are 4' long plus are obviously angled. Would just two up front be enough and with them being angled would there be a dark spot in the middle? Or would it be better to run two on each angle and one on each side?
I pre ran the wires for the lights under the decks, but I ran 8 sets of wires just in case I wanted to add more lights. So another possibility would be to drop down to a couple 250s and run one 400 and one 250 on each side of the front and the same on each side.....
Or is there any other idea that might work better?
(Pic is before decks were done but just for reference on size and shape of deck)
