I hope so and have been nagging at Ty for several years now about beating him on the drum but to tell ya the truth I have fished that lake for many years and have never seen another drum even close to the size of that one I shot, so doubtfull I will ever shoot another one that big! Go get 'em!

Funny how they show up on the most mysterious places. We have a lake in Northern Minnesota that's loaded with Drum. and now that we have been thinning them out the size is getting bigger every year.

I know this thing was floating in deeper water between an island and the bank, just sitting out there!
Same thing has been happening with our buffalo at Guntersville, use to only shoot smaller fish, now you can easily get on 30-50# fish in many places on the lake.

Dude that is a huge azz tulibee. You may want to look at the bullhead more closely. I think it may be a Brown Bullhead. Yellows have yellow chin barbels. Those look pretty dark. Either way its a beast.

My bad i thought if it was a little yellow that would count.haha must be a brown eh? lots of em bigger than that where we shoot but rarely do they get a ride in the barrel Tulipees thick as snot as well. those things really bleed when ya get em!

cant tell what kind a bullhead it is, my guess is black, followed by pssibly brown. if it is indeed a yellow, its the state record. either way, it is gonna be in the any bullhead catagory on here when i update it.

That would be awesome to shoot some Tulibee. We have a cabin just south of you guys in Nisswa and they sometimes wash up dead on our shore. I plan to take the bow this summer when I come up. blazinarrow, we should meet up for some shootin if you arent busy around the 4th of July. Dont matter where. Our lake has some beastly bowfin in it.
