My brother and I are purchasing a new boat, 2014 excel 2172 stalker with a 90hp on it, Loan went through yesterday. Boat will be picked up next week. excel makes a Bowfishing deck with lights and swivel seats and is completely removable, no mods to the boat.
Question is;has anyone been on the excel platform?
Opinions on if I should purchase from excel or build my own.
Platform has to be removable as this boat is for duck hunting and fishing as well.

There a guy local that you could use. He built.my deck and a few others. Good prices and does great work. He lives n cedar hill area. He goes by show me.bowfishing customs
