THANK YOU! Now how much should i turn the horsepower up? If it dynos 700hp at 5000 and 200rpm = 100 hp like derreberry said: I must be making about 1400hp at the 10,000rpm I have been running at. How much more should i crank it up?

Continuous rating on that is 1960 HP @ 14,000 rpm. Going by the 80% rule I would try to keep it at or below 11,200 rpm but you should still make around 1560+ HP. If you spray Reel Magic on your poly you should be able to run dry ground as long as there is a 65% downgrade.

man I don't know about ur boat motor but my ex girlfriend had a battery operated boyfriend and it had a adjustment knob on it...low medium and high...it really helped her get through the tough time when I was away working off shore...
Ok... I have been on here a while but I really need some answers about my airboat. First , How does the horsepower adjustment work? I know when you twist the props clockwise, you adjust the horsepower down and when you twist them counterclockwise, you adjust it up. An airboat builder told me that 200rpm at full throttle was equivilent to 100hp at WOT so i know the engine looses as much as 500hp when i crank it down.

How much would it be safe to crank it up too????

And.. Wouldnt it be easier to just put a knob on there instead of turning the props?

Ummmmm all this info has been answered already in this Thread  Jk
30-50lbs on the bow
Make sure your bow is in tune. Bow sighting is unnecessary. Take your sight off.
Yes you can use a kyack as long as your a balanced individual.
No Modifications needed.
We dispose of our fish in a crop field. Get permission from the farmer first. Good for the crops.
Most importantly. DONT EAT CARP!!!! :)
