Ok, what size extension cord should I buy then? My boat isn't big enough to hold the genny and the fish so I'll leave the genny on land and run a cord to the boat. Will a 16/2 work???

Sounds to me like you need to buy a second boat to tow around behind you to hold your genny.

Too small. You need 17/0 submarine cable.

Question: I just got into bowfishing and love it so much, I bought 2 bows... one I use without any sights (the instinctive shooting method), the other I bought a OMP laser sight for friends and mainly my 12 y/o son to get him started. My question is when sighting in the laser sights, cant i just take the barbs off and shoot a normal bow target at 10 feet, instead of shooting a pop bottle submerged under water since the laser "adjusts" to the water refraction?

No.. You have to be on a boat or the laser wont work..

The laser don't go past the top of the water. My buddy got one last week and it don't work!! The damn thing would only turn on if u shut one eye and stood on one leg.. He returned it..
