Its not just on the tidal wave where the arrow either doesn't fit or is tight when putting the arrow in the holder. Put some washers on the reel mounting bolts between the bow and the reel......

 

I have to thank you a lot for that. After I read this I thought.....they did include a spacer and longer screws....this must be what it's for. Sure enough. I felt like an idiot. :cf::re:

 

Better take a look at the cams because mine were leaning quite a bit and I didn't realize it until I had shot it several times. It didn't cause me any problems but its worth a look.

 

You aren't the only one where the arrow holder doesn't align right.

Also, it appears the slider-thing that goes on the horizontal bar (somebody help me here) is missing...

 

Yes, the cable guard slide is missing.

 

I put the cable guard on after the picture. I didn't even realize it was in the package until I had thrown one on from my old hunting bow.

 

Those no gloves are upside down. Lol

 

Where did you get this bow? It needs a good cable slide asap, dont shoot it without one. And the finger savers are obviously upsidedown. Likely the string was flipped if it was purchased from a box store

Hard to pass up the package. With everybody wanting $279 for a bare bow, the accessories I received with it were well worth the extra $100. I have to learn to shoot now without seeing the end of my arrow :/

 

Why is that?

 

Because the sight picture is not what I'm used to. I've only shot with recurves before this and the snapshot rest hides the front of my arrow from view.

 

Like ridin a bike.....you'll have it figured out in no time!

 

I was in the same boat when I first shot with the Snap Shot but now I'm shooting my Tidal Wave as well as I shoot my recurve. It's amazing how fast you adjust to a new bow.

 

I started with a roller rest and ABSOLUTELY DID NOT want anything that affected my sight window. Now I only use QuickDraw and whisker biscuit and won't use anything g else
