Other than the trigger are there any differences between the new and old retreiver?

You have a ability to adjust where you want the retriever. You can adjust the up and down it along with the forward and backward distance. Really nice to get it set comfortably so you don't have to mess around when shooting. Just bought another Pro retriever to get rid of the standard one I had on my other bow.

the trigger guard thing is annoying, in my opinion. i cut it down to just be like the old trigger.

i do like the adjustments in both directions. i have ordered a few for my new bows from scott at bowfishingextreme.com - which is the lowest price i've found.

and they also have a string holder so when your not using it, your string doesnt all dump out of the bottle or get strung down the hiway by the wind on the way there or back. I also comes with a shim to space it out from your rest if you need to. Just got my new pro yesterday. thanks scott!

My only complaint on the retriever pro that I have, is the plastic tab on the inside of the handle part instead of the screw on gear house that they went to. I shipped mine of for a custom paint job and the plastic tab was flimsy enough to crack when I was putting it back on. I sure liked the three screw setup more than the two screws and plastic tab thingy.
