Finally built my removable deck (2 parts) and all lights are removable. All wires are hidden inside pvc.

Have you floated it yet? Looks kinda heavy, I had a bass tracker very similar to yours and have a very light deck and lights setup and 3 people up from would near about put the nose underwater. Looks nice though, you might not like those lights being so far back on the front, you're gonna light up the front of the boat and troller real bad and that'll reflect back to you and cut your visibility up from way down.

Looks like it should work for two guys as a first boat. It does LOOK nose heavy on that mod v. When you overhang a square deck it makes a inside corner to catch on debris, trees, logs, etc. Also any overhang allows feet to be put over the gunnel of the boat and cause tipping. I'd personally paint a foul line (an outline of the hull bottom) right there on the deck for visual on where to try to keep your feet.

I'm having a little trouble with the scale because I'm not sure how big those LEDs are...there are an array of shapes nowadays.

Are those rails designed to contain a falling shooter, or just hold the lights up? Those are PVC? If for lights only, make sure the other shooters know full well not to rely on them to arrest their fall.

Have fun but be careful. Make adjustments as needed. Pay close attention to the waterline the first few times you use it. Check the hull cap and remember water weighs 8 lb a gallon, so a 55 gal drum of carp is approx 440lb.

I had a 1652mv, had pods on the back. I had all batteries, ballast boxes and big generator with a 40hp in the back. Sat really good. I made a light deck and one night we took off and it was new water and it was dragging the motor in the mud and my two shooters were on the deck i throttled back to fast to slow down and the bow dunked under water! The flush deck kept the water out but i wouldent have knowen unless my buddies started screaming! Gotta be carefull no matter what. Now im still nervious even on my 1872.
