Got me a new toy this past week. Really like the up grade to my bow. So far the shoot thru rod has performed flawlessly.

Reels super smooth with fish on. Line is always going straight in the retriever. Didn't have one single issue with line getting wrapped around handle.

did it slow arrow down any. can you reel a fish in with a retriver other than pumping did it help that any?

Couldn't tell any loss speed of arrow. There is zero drag thru the rod. I reeled all the fish in, but nothing was over 15 lbs. So no real fights to get anything in.
