just ordered a new wave and can pick it up and shoot it tomorrow night. what can i expect out of this bow as far as problems go. have a cuda and i know what they are notorious for. are there any cam lean issues or anything like that that needs to be addressed.

The finger slicks that come.on them suck! I also don't like their rubber gate on the qd they put on their bows it will break off within 30 shots....... but it shoots good. It's no Cuda but its a good bow. I bought 2

i think bare bows still come with the finger slicks. and maglite is right, THEY SUCK!! they are the right size for a 10year old, they are way too small for anyone with big hands. I dont personally own a wave but have looked over one a couple different times at stores and also drawn them back. seems like a good bow although it didnt feel anywhere close to as smooth drawing as my discovery 2. could have just been something with that specific bow though...

Bow draws smooth and easy, its not as hard hitting as the cuda but its close, drawing the wave back at 40 pounds will be easier than pulling a cuda at 30, one of the more accurate Bowfishing bows I've owned, n the finger slicks aren't that bad, the less you have on your string the more consistent release your going to make, I had no problems paper tuning it, have had mine for two months with no problems with cam lean or string stretch, you'll like the bow, I love mine!!

I noticed that, i was very surprised to see that the bow was maxed out because it only felt like 30lbs or so! im pretty sure that bow at the store was messed up or tuned wrong which is why it drew so rough.
