On average how long are the muzzy reels lasting

To each his own. I like the $20 808's myself. Around 25 years ago when I first started bow fishing, someone made a reel similar to the 808, it was called or made by Spinnett. Still have it and it still works. If the muzzy compares to that I would not hesitate to buy one.

looks like some company would build a really tough spinner that would be more trouble free for just bowfishing if its like farm machinery they love to sell you a lot of parts its called their gravy.

If it doesn't tear up they won't sell very many.
