I was wondering where some of the best rivers or lakes are for gar in oklahoma or Missouri

I go on lake of the ozarks a lot and it usually always is good, been on truman once and seen lot of fish there to, gonna try to go there a lot more this summer. i dont go on rivers anymore since your suppose to be done bowfishing by midnight. What area is anderson?

Its in the Very Southwest corner of Missouri... The only time i really go on the river is when the gar are running up river... The elk river has quite a few gar running up it but i always hear about people talking about gar just stacked in places

I don't think there are any gar left in Oklahoma.LOL Just find a spillway below any of the many lakes in Ok and you will find some nice gar.
