Thats total BS!!!They were making them by the thousands and thousands!Not as limited release!!If they are worth that(and they are not.....I am rich!!!!)It is semi unique in that it has the round base,which was called a Pole Gin....I have a Pole trap that there are only a handful of known examples that I dont think is worth $600?Now the BIG bear traps....thats a different storymy buddy had it appraised and i was told it was worthe $500 to 600? is the guy feeding me full of shiznit? he said they made 1780 of them?

Looks like a disassembled conabear and two victors. One long spring and one coil spring.
Matt,first of all I need to rescind my "BS",call.....that was wrong of me,not knowing is there a makers mark anywhere?Anything on the pan?Its odd that your friend had a specific number?More would need to be known....I apologize.
The other underspring....I should have known,as I have a couple is a Newhouse #91/2 Jump,the first double jaw and was pat 1912.A great trap,and may be worth a little.Post some pics of any others ya have,I love old traps.....I dont see how it can be called bragging so when I get a chance I will put some up of a couple I have
