Just wondering if this will charge my maxxum 80 24v system while I'm fishing if I hook it up to the genny. Thanks.

It will charge your batterys, but it won't keep up and will prally burn up your troller.
So in short, don't do it.

Either 2 12 volt converters or a 24 volt converter.
I run 3 12 volt 55 amp iota converters on my minkota 101.
Golbom on here is the hook up for power max converters. I don't know what one is the best but I have not had any trouble with my iotas.
