ok I just got off the Phone with backwoods landing and I can get a 1760 with 28" sides, trailer, and 50 hp tahatsu completely riged with a 5 yr warrenty for a lil less than 11k.
I could spend another 3 to 4k and have a completetly brand new fan rig for less than 15k that would just a nasty rig. my bank would feel better about finacing the boat also bc its so new. With it being new I dont hafta worry about any issues of somthing not being right in the boat also like the seller hiding things from me.
all that being said I realize its not a F&F or whoever else but whats yalls opinions on weldbilt boats? here in the delta its all mudflats and grass 0 rocks or stumps my last boat was .100 guage or thinner and it did fine so that dont really scare me And I loved the fact it was so light. With the motor having a 5 yr warrenty I feel good about it and it only weighs 205lbs!
I guess im just asking what would be some legit reasons not to buy a welbilt vs other production hulls, if there is any. Ive never heard any bad about backwoods landing and they are fairly local so dealing with them would be convenient.
