been taking alot of new customers out and getting them on some really good fish.had a group saturday night and they wanted to shoot a trophy alligator gar. We went out and seen some really good fish and after missing the first 8 alligator gar, they finally settled down and shot a 6 ft. 1 inch/ 101 pounds gar!!!!! After all the excitement and hi 5's I told them the action was just gonna get better from here. Not ten minutes later, we came across BIG BERTHA!!! 7 FT. 6 inches/ 201 pounds of brute force! with 3 arrows in her, after about 20 minutes, I finally gaffed her and put her in the boat. Took her back to the lodge, weighed and measured her right on the spot. I was able to talk my clients into getting both alligator gars mounted, and they were very greatful as this was their first bowfishing trip ever.
