The box you on top is where we will put the fish. It will have a lid that will act as a seat or a camera platform. As you see it is angled and goes to the outside of the boat. There will be a door on both sides that when we open it the fish will dump themselves. It might be hard to tell from the pics how it's gonna work but ill post pics as I get more. I wanted to share this because I know how much of a pain in the a$$ it is to dump fish and mess with them heavy barrels of fish. Figured someone might find this useful on future platform builds.

We asked the same question. The guys building the boat said that would not be a problem. With the big gas tank full of fuel and all the battery's and genny at the back should level out very well. If I had to say I bet we could fit 70-80 fish in the box. We don't shoot a ton of monsters in these parts just a few big grass carp here and there but a lot of smaller commons. So this should work perfect.

When we get it done we will be putting pics of the finished product. They are now thinking May 19th we will be able to drive to Clinton Iowa to pick it up. But when we get it home your more than welcome to come check it out. Or it will be at the Stockton Mo shoot on Labor Day weekend. Or the Iron Man tournaments held on Truman.

Nice idea. Wouldn't hold near all of our fish in one night though, not to mention you put 80 fish in that thing that weigh 5-10 lbs and you looking at 400-800lbs off added extra weight plus shooters, thats alot even on that big of a boat. Hope it works out well for you.

Do you carry all of your fish you shoot to the back of the boat? We throw all of our fish in a barrel right behind the deck & about every boat i have ever seen does the same thing. Of course when you get it full it's going to be heavy, but unless you put your fish barrel @ the rear of the boat, your going to have the same issue. Looks like an awsome idea!!! Should work awsome!!!

Ya it's coming along pretty nice. Pretty stoked. Less than a month and counting down the days. Had a pretty cool idea. Gonna throw some Green LED lights on the transom so the water behind the boat boils green. Just for show and while we are going from point A to point B.

IMO, you are going to spend more time that it is worth washing that box out in order to be able to stand being anywhere near it later. Also, take it for what it's worth...but I put all 5 of my deep cycles up front under our shooting deck thinking that I have a 200 hp and a 15 hp kicker, plus 50 gallon fuel cell in back so it would be ok. Batteries are now getting moved to the back.

I hope it works out for you like you want it to. Congrats on the new boat.
