that's what I thought about the fluted tip we just need to know how much and where to order from and when he,s ready to ship.

Somethings got to give. There has to have balance or controlled breaking. Fine if you come with a tip that can handle being shot into a brick but will the shaft splinter or the nock pop off ? JFYI a Triangle should in theory be the strongest geometric design.
Nothing 'has to give' in this scenerio. He is simply making a harder point out of better material.

If you wanna shoot a cheap, soft tip go for it. Myself, Id pay more for a tip thats gonna last.

On a side note, do you have the capability to build a complete Muzzy style head thats scaled down, and will fit over a standard size carbon arrow?

If anyone is interested PM me for prices and what not, I always thought it was poor taste to post set prices in a public setting.

Crap i forgot to work on a point for carbon arrows. gonna see if the local machining store has a die the size of the threads to fit a carbon arrow insert.

No need for that...well, actually that may be pretty sweet if the steel is strong enough. A screw in style point I mean.

But what I meant was making a 'mini' Muzzy/Cajun style body, just big enough to slide over the outside of a carbon arrow. I could get an exact diameter to you. It would prolly still work with a standard size screw on tip, but the body wouldnt be so wide.

If that makes sense?

PM me if you want more info-I dont wanna post too much on here. ;)

I was under the impression round was the strongest, hence all those arches in ancient architecture.

Well if you increased the energy at some point something always breaks. No doubt that poor quality material make for poor results. High quality better results such is everything in life.
