looks real fun, but how do your crank your genny up? i see alot of the generators on airboats way back in there almost up under the motor and ive always wondered

Do you weld all those holes up then put the new on.

No. The ones that you see welded is where they had the other bumped to gether and the holes are 1 inch apart and two rows as you can see. We put the new poly on and then one on top of the boat and another under. One drills through the hole already there and the other guy counter sinks and puts the bolt in.

I drilled thru a guys hand while we were puttin mine on. I asked if he was clear he said yes them he put his hand on the boat.

So I assume if you have a floor in your boat you have to take it out everytime you replace the poly?

If u reuse the holes yes. If its bolted on yes. If u weld the holes up and screw it on no u don't have to take the floor out

Ya but from what I hear these guys dont change it every year or nothing. You get many years of wear and tear out of the poly.

Lol. We made sure we stayed on the bolts we put in already. Think a drill bit would hurt going through the knee!!! Also I used nuts and bolts going back together. Just dont like the idea of steel bolts tapped into aluminum.

Mines just 1/4" but I have stainless bolts with brass nuts
