i think you would be better off with the champion 4000/3500. its also 68 db, and you dont have to buy a tank for it. and i picked one up a couple weeks ago at tractor supply for $279 http://www.tractorsupply.com/outdoo...eg-3500-w-portable-gasoline-generator-4434023
