I use one occasionally. Works great for spincast reels so you don't have to beat up on the drag system. But it can work for a retriever reel too. It should work great for you!!

Are you using a spinner or retriever? If your using a spinner I would highly recommend a rod of some sort screwed into the end of your reel seat.It will take alot of the abuse that your reel would usually be subjected to and helps getting your arrow out of the mud, etc.Your reels will last much longer.

If your using a retriever...then just screw it into the front of your bow.

As always...JMO
