I like mine.. I can't imagine what in the hell you could have done to have this result??

Stopper up! They are the best rest out there, and with a whisker biscuit you probably didnt pay as close attention to where it was since it didnt really matter. With a quick draw it does!! Ive shot mine hundreds of times both with slides and tied to the back and neither caused issues. I had knots tie around my rest and break the arrow off and it didnt even leave a mark on the aluminum....

operator error my a$$ ! I put the stopper up even on my whisker biscuit, that ain't it.
after seeing the in-flight pictures that were posted, I wonder if the fast flight didn't loop over and half hitch on the rest somehow.

Whatever it is, phuck it. I'm out on the QD rest.
If you are using slides, how does the line make it back to the rest to half hit h around it? I ain't gonna say what happened cause I wasn't there. But if you are shooting any reel with slides and reel your line up tight like you should, I don't see it happening

It's not the "rubber" slide stop that did it it's the screw that holds the rubber slide stop to the arrow that hits and causes the damage.

never a problem, had mine loop around the rest once and still shot the fish and landed it, perfect rest, if there is such a thing....

why would slides be not recommended with spinners? I've got a rod so I can't draw without the button pushed.
seems more like a personal preference rather than "not recommended" like dangerous or will causing failure.

Tie to the back and you won't regret it. Every now and then your line will catch on the rest but your arrow will still shoot just not very hard. Reel up and try again. Spinners and QD rests have become my favorite. No more worrying about putting slides on arrows or breaking them or anything like that.

...says it right in Muzzies instructions.Personally I think slides are gay,and have tied to the back with just about every rest there is,yea, sometimes ya get a loop, but thats fishin, its not the equipts fault

Love my QD and I tie to the back! The ONLY WAY I WOULD IMPROVE the rest is to make it fully enclosed instead of the gate and front load it.

Buddy of mine posted this on FB today. It happened last night. He tie to the back also so no slide or stopper. He is getting another QD even though he broke this one. Not sure how it broke he said he shot and it flew off and he hit the fish and reeked it in. Can't find the piece that broke off.

I've shot a quick draw on my bows for along time intell I started making my own rests.I understand things do happen but the problem you posted don't seem like a rest problem don't be so quick to blame the rest. You should give it another try before you blame the rest...

Albert Einstein once said "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results".

Throw that quick draw junk away, call bowfishing extreme and get one of their aluminum fixed rests. Problem solved.
