I was dead set on hitting the spillway tomorrow looking for bigheads but this rain might change things, river was already up too. Should I still give it a go or try the flooded parts of the Lake instead?

I have no idea what you should do but I feel like I watch a lot of videos in flooded parts weather it's flooded timbers or just flooded fields ..... Maybe someone with better knowledge then me will chime in

Went to the spillway, it was hard fishing all day. River was not up at all, there was mud 4-5 feet up the banks, water was murky as I ever seen it. Never laid eyes on a bighead either, I think I'd have better luck seeing santa clause. Took a new guy out and he got to shoot a couple carp and gar so the day wasn't a total waste. But I wont be going back up there during the weekend, it was a zoo!
