Skeeter the A &E seat does put it closer than the f & d . The way the a &e fits the bow it will not ever twist because it has a tab on each side of the riser the rest of it is just about like an f & d. JP if ya dont like that f& d you can send it my way.

FD Pro all the way. Tried the RPM Vise on my Black Eagle, doesnt work. The nuts to tighten the reel down are way to close to the curvature in the riser and there is no way to get a good grip on it to tighten the reel down good.

I had always use the Muzzy's but the roll pins that hold the inserts and the cap on the end would always loosen. I just went through and punched and drilled them out and put bigger ones in. I just got a F&D in the mail yesterday, so far it seems pretty rugged and simple.
I'll only do that in order to sell them. Muzzy seats have already cost me 5X what they're worth in reels that got busted on the account of the sloppy sob's.

KY, looks like the AE pits the button closer than the F&D does. Am I seeing rite?
You can easily customize the F&D seat to put the reel's button exactly where you want it. I have mine almost touching my knuckle. Superglue is used to secure the bolt, so with a little heat it can be removed, seat cut back, and bolt run back in with more superglue.

I don't know which other seats you can do that with, but the F&D is pretty sweet.

yeah i got a muzzy on now and have longer fingers so i can still get a good push with my knuckle but its right at that point that it causes fatuige in my and wrist thumb after a couple hours of grinding on it. i might just get the BFE,AE and FD and see which one i like. im also looking to aquire a shoot through rod and some gene davis tips here shortly. kind of late for this year but winter project is to redo my stealth and add some creature comforts plus experiment with some tips other than what i can find here in the stores. really agravating not being able to put my hands on product and having to rely on pics off the web.

The a/e will only work on the a/e bows unless you have a craze or menace and they can be modified for them.

Skeeter you could shave the tabs down some but i think if you try to put it on an osprey your gonna have to shave the riser some to make it all work.

I have used the BFE reel seat since they have come out. I haven't broke the foot off a Synergy reel since I started using it. They don't loosen up and reel doesn't move side to side. I can hand tighten the jam nuts and it stays tight. I have used all the others except the AE and in my opinion the BFE seat is the best.
