I am new to bowfishing, and kinda a cheapskate. I have an off brand youth bow that goes up to 45lbs, and use a Zebco 808 reel. I purchased a cheap round style reel seat off Amazon, and I am having a real problem with it moving while fishing. I have put locking washers on it and installed a shoot-through rod in hopes to limit the pull on the reel and keep the seat from rotating. Just took it out last night, after the new additions, and it still rotates while reeling in fish. Anyone have the same issue and know of any quick fixes for it. I know I can always buy an new seat, but want to try and fix the problem before going that route.

Get an F&D.
That said...is the 5/16-24 bolt spinning in your bow? I sort of doubt it? But if so, lock the jamb nut tighter.
Is the seat body spinning around the bolt? Wouldn't surprise me on a junk seat. If so, drill all the way through it and pin through the body and bolt. If you have tap, probably a #8 would work.
