NWLA Appreciation shoot on Toledo Bend - Saturday - September 8, 2012 at Huxley Bay Marina w/fish fry before tournament
$25.00/person with numbers and big 5. Trailering allowed
Rules for the shoot from the Meeting Notes:
1. Entry fee will be $25.00 per person max three man teams
2. Entry fee will be divided to $15.00 to numbers and $10.00 to big 5
3. Kids 15 and under shoot free and do not count towards 3 man team
4. We shall keep the revised format for shoots to be big 5 and numbers to promote a level playing field for all teams.
5. Local tournament payouts shall be 1 place only with 6 boats or less; 7-10 boats shall pay 2 places and 10+ boats shall be 3 places.
6. gar, carp, shad, buffalo, all rough fish count. No catfish for tournament.
7. Trailering allowed to anywhere on the lake. No fishing below the toledo bend dam and the farthest place north one can launch is Logansport, but you can boat from Logansport to as far as you want by boat.
I spoke with Huxley Bay Marina and they were excited about having us again. His cabins are $50.00 per night with two full size beds and they have an excellent restraunt at the store - tell him you are coming to bowfishing tournament (more positive things they see with $$$ the better). 936-368-2494
Fish fry will be free to everyone although we will need people to bring condiments (not condoms Hoopty). A list is started below to help sort out who all is bringin what.
