went to the river this morning got up about 5 miles motor died dead big gator gar swam by my buddy stuck him in the tail he started down stream I said let him pull us as far as he will as we were going by where the truck was parked he cut the line,asked what you doing he replied a gar that nice going let him go. looked to be about 8 ft.

Ought to be able to get by with 20ga SJ cord since it will be water cooled. It's only 1/4 mile!

Was over at the dock yesterday saw that gator gar again still had that arrow in his tail darn it wish I could get that arrow back!!!

Due to the size of the boat and weight, we want to run as light on the cord as possible, 12/3 would limit amount of cord and distance can travel also, was thinking could get more distance on the spool and less weight to go 16/3 instead of 14/3.

Naw, trust skeeter, yo gonna need 12-3 for the voltage drop runnin that far out.

I'm glad you brought it back up lol. I think this year I'm gonna get about 50 hamster wheels with magnets in them and run them in serial to make a living generator. I can just throw some lettuce back there and they'll go all night!

Instead of lettuce I would suggest cracked corn and redbull. Sure it will add more weight to your boat but the extra wattage is worth it. And if you buy the cheap china hamsters make sure you buy the right ones for your lights, either 110v hamsters or 12v hamsters
