Was thinking of making a trip down, but we've been getting a lot of rain here in the upstate, that usually means chocolate milk water for Santee. Anyone down that way have a water clarity report for upper or lower lake? Thanks

Its been chocolate milk. Also super shallow. I've bottomed my skiff out twice in the last two weeks. Sick of pushing the boat off of sandbars:headbang: Got stuck two weeks ago on the upper lake and last weekend on the lower lake.
Glad someone else found the bottom also JK. We were gator hunting a couple weeks ago and had a nice one in sight and bottomed out so bad that 2 of us had to get out the boat and push. 3rd person was in boat running trolling motor and a push pole. We made sure to keep a visual to where he was at. I bowfished both lakes in July and it wasn't so bad. Running around at night without lights on gator hunting was eye opening to say the least.
