Unless I can get a ride.
Blew a cylinder at Cedar Creek tournament last month. Ring blew out and scoured my cylinder and head.

So, looks like maybe a 1988 Evinrude 88 SPL for sale for scrap
and 1984 Lowe 1860 w/ trailer, lights and 12v troller for sale.

Try looking on craigslist.. Around here there are folks selling of stuff and I've seen a few motors at fairly low prices. Might be surprised what ya find. I know that feeling though.. Sometimes you hit that rut where If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all. Hope your able to find that motor!!

I hear you Skin it back, if I had a airboat crap out on me like that I might just quit for good.
Kuger that 150 would scream, but my boat is riveted, it might just rip it apart completely.
I got some options I'm trying to get sorted out, I'll be back soon, but not soon enough.

That is why you should run "Ring Free" [It's a Yamaha Product.]

Carbon builds behind the rings in the ring lands on the pistons. That build up stops the rings from moving freely and decreases compression also.

When enough carbon has built up you get what happened to you.
