For us up north, the water is beginning to get hard, which means my first, (hell of a good time and learning experience) year of bowfishing is in the books. Being a complete novice to all of this I am preparing the bows for storage. What should I do before storing them? Wax strings, Yup got that. Do I oil the cams? If so what type of oil? Do I turn the limbs as light as possible? Anything else? Thanks

If the limbs are laminated you should probably turn them down. If there's any hardware that might rust, you may want to wipe it down with a little oil on a rag, but there's not much to do. Oil on the cams and wax on the string are more for when you use it than when it sits idle. But it doesn't hurt to keep it ready to go, now does it?

make sure it is dry and somewhere it is going to stay dry and pray for a short winter so you can get out and slay more fish.
