What color would you recommend shhooting in the marsh in Louisiana? The water is usually pretty clear and 2' or less deep.
I prefer the halo color myself. Its all matter of personal opinion! If you want to talk lights, give us a shout!

Here are the lights mounted temporarily, we fished off them Thursday night and they performed well. Got to finish up some more stuff and will do a more in depth review.

Looking good! Those lights are slick huh!?

Did a search. Didn't find anything.

Has anyone seen/shot over these:

My boat has about a 5' beam and a 6' front deck. I was considering 6x50w, but then I saw these. Could I get by with 3x80w instead? I know the output would be a little lower, but they would draw less amps=longer running time. The main advantage is they would be much cheaper: 6x$105=$630. 3x135=$405! I'd plan on adding some additional lights in the future, but I'm just looking for something to get me started.

Thanks.
Any possibility on getting 100 watt with. (2) 50 watt chips. ???

This is where we started…through cooling complications we had to go with the 80w. Also, for those that are running them in 12/24v it keeps them from drawing so much power. I would say if you saw these in person you would be very happy with what 80w will do!

Cooling still an issue with 120v I suppose also? Not worried about run time on battery since on a genie anyway? Already running 50w so no led arguement from me...

I'm running (6) 400W HPS. Love the light, HATE the generator noise all night. My questions is, if you have to run a generator to keep the batteries charged anyway why not run the 400s? I like the idea of running silent, but if I can't I want the maximum light I can put out. Thoughts? What am I missing?

Lots of the guys are running them on a airboat with H/O alternator. Don't use generator cause alternator will keep the batteries up with airboat running all night.

LED's also cut down the power requirement considerably. Lets suppose someone uses a 101 troller that they need converters for, thats 2100w from their genny alone, now add 2400w worth of hps light and all of a sudden you need a huge generator. Now that same person, using LED's can power 2 converters on one honda 2000 and the other converter along with 110v leds on the other and now they have good light and converters all run on a reasonable amount of generator power.

Update? Pics in action? What are your observations after shooting over them? What do you think the best spacing is?

Thanks.
