Alright guys I have a left hand Aeroforceshortdraw bow I had/have forsale on here. Guy from the forum pms me ask for my number fOr a friend after a week friend calls me (handnt had much interest) say ok I'll think about it. Calls me a couple days later says hell take it. Ask how to pay I incouraged him to use PayPal quick, protects us both. He wasn't nterested. Ask about bank check I said I would take a certified postal money order or well known bank check(will wait for check to clear 2 days). He says he sends the money out. Week and a half goes by. I text, no answer I call "he insist he sent the money, "a few days ago". Now it's been aweek and a
couple days i text say hey man still no money. Just checking in.... No reply what's the honest thing to do? I held the bow at his first interest maybe I'm too nice. I'm not holding my breath that the money is in the mail

I would like to relist and if his money comes return to sender. What do you guys think

He hasn't sent the money IMO. List the bow again, if a check shows up send it back. No harm no foul. It's not your problem he can't send the money via paypal to rush things along.

I told him I wasn't in a rush but it kinda burns me being lied to I know life gets in the way but it's going on a month and I don't like holding inventory that long. Not to mention the principal of it it doesn't take 2.5 weeks to get from west to mid west

And if you try and pull some sneaky chit like "gift" someone money for a firearm and they turn around and report you, Paypal freezes your account for an undefined time period for "investigation". The money is still yours, you just can't get to it.
A guy at work just had his account frozen and turned over for investigation for betting on March Madness. They're finicky little b!tches...

Good to know. Glad I didn't have to find that out the hard way.


And yes. List the bow back for sale. If the check comes in before somebody else buys it, cash it first, that way you Make sure it doesn't bounce, then ship it. And I'd try to get a hold of the guy on here that you spoke with.
