Westley I know what you mean with the airboat stuff, it wouldn't work well on my boat either.
But I think this boat having 34" sides will solve that issue. That and the fact it will draft shallower then my airboat would. So for an airboat I don't think it would work well but it should work great for this boat.
Boy if you could seal those up so even if they went under water they didn't get wet? The light should shine straight out. I would think think would be pretty sweet!
Mine has 32" on front and it gets wet. I think this is a really cool idea though. Maybe find a way to get them completely sealed through a little R&D and this could be the next "big thing"
1st I've seen this thread. I love that boat I like small boats!!! If I got a new 1 tomorrow it would be 16ft, airboat or kicker/fan. As long as it's deep and will hold 3 ppl fishing, I like it
been thinking about doing something like that (on a small river boat) for a while but the problem I kept thinking about is what happens if they are sealed and underwater and you bust the glass?
