Is this common (no pun) or rare? It had black inset holes but no eye balls.

Yes, i have shot 2 commons with no eyes and one of them even had both fins half gone and no tail. Weird stuff :laugh:

i shoot a couple a year with only one eye. they dont even have the hole where the eye should go like that one though. cool fish

Lol we have a fish tank at home, and we have a black goldfish with the googly eyes. I have some racist fish because non of rhe black fish last very long. As of last night he lost his second eye. Hes still swimming even though he cant see nothing.

Been almost a month since they got his first eye. It healed up fine. I guess its same as nature

haha i hate to admit it but it took 3 or 4 shots between 3 of us to get him, didn't know why he stuck around long enough for us to nail him until we saw he had no eyes lol.

We've shot quite a few in Maryland with no eyes to one eye. Some with out a socket .
