I am thinking about building new shop and was wondering if anyone have any pictures of theirs? Any suggestions as to certain things I need to make sure to add?
i didn't really know where else to put this thread.

Pic of the overhead winch. I use it to remove and store my deck when I want to bass fish. Or whatever task might arise.
I definitely have things I'll do differently next time. #1 is taller doors!!:headbang:

But overall, I really enjoy it as is!!
Good luck and plan, plan, plan!!

I looked at building a 32x48x 14 tall pole building and it was gonna be like 25k and I would have had to have someone come in and remove 5 very large oaks. unless I built 100yds away from the house and then I would have had to run new electric and do a box culvert to get to it. just caint have it all I guess.

I have over 30k in it with cement and labor. I set it back 250' from the house on purpose. Didn't want the old lady complaining that I woke her up early beating and banging on stuff out there. I had planned on building the shop after the house, so I had the electricians install a breaker box that was bigger than I needed for the house and buried some conduit before they poured the cement driveway. Ran #2 to the shop with a breaker box in there.

so what do yall think about a crane. jib or gantry to be able to create some type of make shift boat rotisserie. ive looked at auto rotisseries I just don't have the space for one and a crane I can use for multiple things.
