I am excited to see what pops up here too. When I bought my boat, the guy that owned it before me worked for a gas company and used the boat to crappie fish. He made these stands for removable rod holders outta pipe so I just put some atv gun holders on them to hold my bows. They work pretty dang good. Plus, if I wanna anchor up and do some catfishing during the day, I just swing the holders down and screw the rod holders back in.

Here is what I have for a bow holder on my boat. Just some holders I got at a hardware store (Home Depot I think), covered in some foam tubing.

I either use the one mounted on my fan stand. Or when I am in a hurry I will just throw my bow on my fish barrel when driving the outboard to different spots on the lake. The Osprey's fit nicely across my 100 gallon barrel.

You can see the bow holder in action in the back of the picture, with my two Ospreys sitting on it (I was filiming). Don't mind the mess of fish. :hb: :hb: And yes my friend was shooting his Osprey with a sight at that time...I since got him to switch finally.

Close up after I got home from a week of bowfishing. A lot of things have changed on my boat since this picture was taken, but you can see the bow holder at least.

The neatest bow holder/storage that I've seen was on the American Airboat I saw at Choke Canyon year before last. Wish I had taken a picture---

I am also looking for ideas for bow racks. I am thinking about a 4-bow rack that holds the bows in a standing vertical position. Got a specific spot I am going to try and work it into on the new boat. If something decent comes of it, I will post pics, otherwise, i would like to see other peoples' rigs as well.

I got bow boxes on the sides of my boat for long term storage and those long runs, but for breaks and short runs I will hand my bow on one of the oh chit handles by the side seats, or do like Deadeye and lay my bow across the bucket, but when the bucket gets full, well there aint much room for the bow so I just throw it in the fish!

Brady, I am willing to bet your boat and my boat have the same smell most all the time. A bloody mess it what makes a bowfishing boat! LOL

Thanks! Here is a picture of them folded down and the rod holders up, although I know thats not the selling point of them. I don't have a picture of them with bows in them. I normally have about 4 or 5 bows in the boat with me, but the most expensive ones get to ride in comfort. The others we lay under the front deck. They also work well because it keeps the arrow secure as well.
