So I have been getting aggravated with the rest on my Skippy bow.... It works great but it just doesnt hold up to me beating and banging around in my boat. So I picked up some more PVC and a case of beer and went to work... I believe my new bracket will work with a few popular rests... I chose the fishhook because its the most primitive! I test fired it in the garage a few times and like that i can adjust it. It seemed to shoot better than my rest .. so I called up my buddy Low89Chevy yesterday and we hit the water. The rest bracket worked flawlessly! We shot several fish with the PVC bow and used it on EVERY backup shot. We put backups into almost ever fish simply because its HOT and the fish are SOFT! lol. We ended up with 2 bigheads.. 35-39 lbs and a mess of silvers, a buff, a mooneye, and my new personal best drum! Had we not been so tired between 4-7 am we seen fish almost everytime we turned the spotlight on.. but couldnt hit chit:laugh: Cant wait to go again!

thats why im gonna wait to give it to him till he gets all mu chit done :D:D:D

The camera needs more light but its kind of hard to have a lot of light when your shooting bigheads in da face.
i think thats how all these little cameras are now a days unless you got the hps's going then it will be a different story, i dont think they can pick up the light they need when you shine a spot out beyond 30-40ft in pitch black. the sensor in them works mostly off infrared light and i dont think spots give off enough by them selves
