Before, after, when I know there are a couple tourneys going around then, I am hosting one the week before, and there are several others around that time.

Recently moved to Sheboygan and not sure what lakes are any good and which are a waste of time. Any suggestions on looking for a place to get started. Hoping to have some friends come down from the Wausau area opening weekend (April 21). Any info would be a great help.

There are quite a few lakes that are good, just depends on what you are looking to do, day or night, big fish or smaller fish.

Well I'll let you know of some, but can't let all my secrets go, Winney is good, just gotta watch the waves with smaller boats, Long Lake near Brillion (which I host a shoot on) Some of the rivers if you can find a launch work good, Gerber lake near Plymouth is ok, plus there are several others within 30 miles of Sheboygan.
