You can run down to your local animal supply store and get some Pyrethin. The concentrated stuff is the cheapest way to get it. The last stuff I bought was about $10 for about 8 oz. Mix it up according to the directions and spray away. This does not have much residual effect, but is supposed to be pretty safe to mammals ( I use it to make a home brewed fly spray for my horses. I also spray down my kennels when the dlys get bad). If you add some light oil to the mixture it helps add a bit of residual kill time (I use purple show oil that can be found in the horse grooming section of most farm stores). There is also some stuff called Cy-kick that is supposed to have a 90 day residual effect. Can't help on the price, or much else about it since I have never used the stuff myself. Good luck.

Just get some sticky bug traps. If you kill them more will come in to eat the dead ones and then you still have them. Its a never ending problem. You need to trap them out if that makes sence.

I hate spiders. I have a rock house up in NE Texas next to the woods. I battled them for years to no avail. Poison has to touch them since unlike bugs they don't clean their feet with their mouths. Only way I finally won the battle, was I quit trying to kill them and worked on their food supply. I poisoned the entire yard house everything. When everything else died the spiders left. Now, I have the things u plug in the walls. Seems to keep them out of the house. At least the big ones.

"damn i got short hair, this is never going to work"
Heck, I don't have much hair at all, and that that I do have is cut pretty short. The stuff still works for me. Give it a try.

"might check with a vet I have heard this has killed female dogs in heat"

I call bull on that one. Just looked at the label. It gives application specifics for treating flees, ticks, lice, and mange on dogs by "thoroughly wet the animal by dipping, sponging, or spraying. Allow animal to dry in a warm place without rinsing or toweling.". This is with a dilution rate of 8 oz in 12.5 gal water.

There's also a product called Tempo that works well. I mix it in a gallon spray can and hit our shrubs around the house and you can watch the bugs hit the ground in a few minutes. I also spray the house in the spring and have no problem with the spiderwebs on the siding for the whole summer. Supposed to be able to eat off the table after you sprayed it with this stuff. I just have never had the desire to test it that way. You can get it in single application or bulk in most hardware stores around here. Works on most bugs but I haven't had any luck with it on wasps.
