We are starting a new vinyl job on our boat and it is a lot more work then we originally thought it would be. We've been peeling off the old ones and this is the second day for that. We should finish taking the old ones off then cleaning the boat good today but then we have to wait until Monday to get the new ones to be put on. We got an excellent deal on them and couldn't be happier just wish it was easier job then it is haha. I'll be posting pictures as we go so you can follow along.

It was like that when we bought it but we're gonna keep that one lol. We finally got all the old letters off. Now I'm waiting on the other guy to get here so we can start cleaning up that glue. After that a good wash and wax and she will be ready for the new letters to be put on!

I used a couple cans of stripper (make sure you test it in an inconspicuous place first), some goo-be-gone, mineral spirits, and a pressure washer. No Fun!

Our local guy that we use for vinyl has some stuff that takes that glue off real easy and dont hurt the paint but he wont say what it is :). he also uses it to take tar off, just spray and wipe. IDK what it is but its good stuff.

Alright I'm about to save everyone a ton of money and time with this. It's called a pinstripe eraser and it works amazing. Just get an attachment and put in on a drill and it eats right through the vinyl and the glue. It is definitely worth the money for this and it's not even that expensive.

And this is what it looks like almost done from using the eraser.
