So, I know we don't eat Carp, but what in the world do ya'll do with a boatload of carp? I live in the city (not by choice) but obviously I don't wanna fill up my trashcan with them...... So What do ya'll do?

you can eat them, a lot of floks do. if you dont want to do that, just throw them back and let the gators have em. just dont leave em at the boat ramp. i use a lot of em for cut bait on trot lines and for chumming.

There are lots of options! Pig farmers...turtle farmers...fertilizer for farmers. Fertilizer for food plots. Bait for traps, catfishing... There are tons of folks from different ethnic backgrounds that consider them delicious! There are some processing plants that would love to have them, and some types of carp and even gar you can actually sell!(MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE PROPER PERMIT TO DO SO) The most important thing to remember is that you NEVER leave fish exposed for people to find/see, such as dumping near a ramp. There are activists that seek out opportunities to put a black eye on a sport like ours...we can't afford to give them ammo.

We give a ton away for **** bait, We give some away to people that like to eat it.
I have ate carp that was very good but I have never learned how to cook it. Have a couple new ways but aint tried em yet.

Who said we dont eat em!!! Nothin like smoked carp... I give all mine to Back Stabber and he canned it, smoked it, fried it, rolled it, eat it raw with hot sauce and crackers! all kinds of stuff you can do with it!!!:tu:

x2 ggg and i fed em to gators or i find like said above other ethnic groups and give them to em and i am thanked heavily also ill find people catfishing and they will use them for cut bait
