Broke the reel foot on a Synergy last night. Are these fixable or riggable, or is this a terminal injury?

anything is obama rigable. I shot one for a season with some hose clamps and zip ties on it..

Buy a new one though $25.

A piece of 1/2" aluminum channel fits over the broken piece. Cut it down to the shape of a foot and bolt it or self tap it in place. Works pretty well

i had one break while i was tightening it to the bow, shakespeare sent me a new one, the new one broke the same thing the first night out with it. then i did what ^salty dog did, and i broke what was left of the plastic. i either did it wrong or im too hard on equipment.

I think I would buy a new one, fix the old one and put it back as a spare IF you don't already have a spare on the boat.

This is the weakest point of the synergy that I found. Salty has a good looking fix. I did similar but my bolts came through the inside of the reel down toward the seat.
