Hey Gbollom, what kinda camera you using?
Just a Nikon D60, bought it to take underwater photos with but couldnt spend 1600 on an underwater case before the last vacation so hopefully next time on that! Wouldnt mind a faster camera for the moto track though, the D60 doesnt shoot quite fast enough in sequence to make good sequence shots

Nice photos mag! I love that stream photo. Would probably look real good on a tripod with a slower shutter speed. That disturbance in the water would give it a good milky look that i think would look neat

Nice right now I have an Olympus 1030sw point and shoot (10.1mp, shock proof to 10ft drop and waterproof to 30ft). Been looking at a Fuji HS10, I think when I get my tax return I'm gonna be buyin one.

The MP quality of point and shoots has gone up ridiculously high lately. The take good photos but you can only do so much without a real lense. The other problem with a point in shoot is you get paralax which isnt near as bad as it use to be with improvements in technology but its still there. Theyre perfect for just taking portait pictures but outside they cant keep up. Ive seen some that can even manually adjust the shutter speed but they just cant do the things an slr can

The HS10 is a bridge camera, not quite an SLR (don't have to shell out as much cash for lenses) but way better than a standard point and shoot. It's lens is fixed (non-removable) but has a 30x optical zoom (24 - 720mm)

Im not sure what they cost but the price of SLR's has gone down considerably also. You can get a good used SLR that will outperform the hs10 probably at a close to the same price
