Since there is not much going on here I thought I'd ask this....What has been the evolution of your lighting setup for those who have had multiple setups. What did you start with to what you have now? Go!

I like this. Started with used car batteries and some tractor flood lights. Then halogen, power strips and a rats nest of extension cords, noisy 200 lbs borrowed generator. Then finally to 150w hps with a inverter generator. Tried a few LEDs but wasn't impressed.

Halogen, 20 year break then started with 27watt LEDS then went to 50 Watt Moonshine LEDS and I am about to change to HYDRO GLO 50 watt LEDS they are by far the best and brightest 50 watt LED that I have played with. I can have 4 of my Moonshines on and when I turn on 1 Hydro Glo it over powers the 4 50's I know this sounds crazy but I have had 3 other people check it out and they all agree the Hydro Glo is way brighter. The only thing we can think of that is causing this is they have 45 separate LEDS instead of 1 chip set and each one is on a 60 degree beam instead of 120 but you still get at least as much coverage if not more than a standard 50 watt LED

I started with 10 500 watt halos, added 2 MH street lights. went to 10 air ranger leds. then I woke up, I run 6 400 hps with 16 48watt leds on a pressure switch.

I used to burn the heck out of my shins on those halos

Hand held spotlight the first night we could legally fish.
(4) 500W halogen for the second night we could legally fish.
2 years later switched to a hodge podge of HPS.
About 8 years later tried the LED Kool Aid.
2 months in back to (4) 400W HPS.

I started with a 10' jon boat and two 300 watt halo on a stand. Then 6 D/C 50 watt Custom Fitz Cool White then bumped it to 10 of the cool whites. This year I converted all of them to extra warm white 2800 Kelvin SMD chips from Custom Fitz and never been happier. I did try a couple of 50 watt green lights bet they didn't work out well at all.

This was my first setup, two energizer spotlights on a homemade mount.

That lasted for two trips, and no fish, so upgraded to 4 Custom Fitz 30w.

Still undecided on what im gonna do on my new boat...
