I know there is a few people that make slingbows on here and have any of you used theraband for your slingbow bands because I can get it cheaper than tube bands and I have heard you get better performance than tubes

where you find theraband should work on sling shot too.

It's to easy to tear which is not very safe bowfishing. Tubes last longer and alot more safe. Just my opinion. And the performace, as speed, is not better for bowfishing.

I was thinking of using multiple bands in layers not one rolled up strip so it is more durable
Its not... One band gets cut and it'll snap and you'll be short poundage on one side and it wont shoot for chit. I used theraband on a custom design i built... Got 200fps out of it with a fletched tipped hunting arrow. Fastest i know of. Bands wore quick tho so it was back to the drawing board and just havent had time to mess with it

My point is there are multiple bands if one snaps I can replace it and your safe if it is one band and It breaks it snaps you in the face
