Some of you (me included) have been missing the Today's Post button

It's now added to the Nav bar. It still doesn't reload automatically but it will show you all of the past posts for the last 24hrs :tu:

You need to add it to all styles one at a time :-(

Don't bother I am going to port over a hack I did for full text sometime today. Will overwrite the whole navbar

I put that navbar in earlier and took it back out because I was unsure about the full text thing. I went over and stole it from SC this morning

The full text link is an embedded search but required a hack down deep in the jscript where the search result summaries were cut off at 200 characters. If you did an advance search and checked show post summary you would see it.

I found where I can adjust that to 10000 characters. Essentially the whole post.

So now if you click full text you see a 'today's posts" search with full text results. It still strips html and BBcode so images dont show. I think it has to stay that way for a reason.

But its there and it back in the nav bar and the hack has been migrated via ftp.

What is the difference with the "Today's Post" Button and the "What's New" Button? I am still getting used to this new setup from VBulletin.

I all I did was change the text........didn't change the code.

We lost the Article link though and I'm going to need that one back

New style added..

And I reinstalled all the styles so that default is the parent mike. This means changes to nav and other items usually only need to happen in the default style.
