be interested to hear also that's a long lake but have never been on it.

 

It's finally starting to clear up. but there are still places that are muddy/stained everywhere.

So how did y'all do?

 

Had a pretty good trip, shot some good longnose and one of the guys that was with us shot a 5'5" Gator Gar. We saw a lot of big ones just not in range. 5'5" was shot mid-lake. They weren't rolling as good as I have seen them in the past but we saw plenty of fish. We passed a ton of shots on big longnose waiting for Gator Gar. Here are a few of the longnose we shot.

 

Wow, those are some nice Longnose! Did you weigh any of those?

 

They were all in the mid to upper 20s. The other boat that was with us shot a 33 Lb. Never ceases to amaze me how fat the Longnose are down there !!!!

 

Sounds like good trip, I got a 35 lb long nose and 60 lb
Gator gar that weekend y'all got there but didn't

Those are some stud needlenose, but your buddies look TERRIFIED of them...lol.

 

They don't like the business end of those fish !!!! :laugh: LOL

A lot bigger longnose than what they are used to handling !!!!
