Great bow,like em,for an old bow

 

Yep probably one of the best H series bows IMO

 

I think they are the nicest of the H-series. I love all of mine.

 

Found one for 80. The guy just bought it today and wants to sale it. So are they good for bowfishing?

 

A lot of guys like the riser for bowfishing - that is the h - riser. It is solid so is easy to paint. Length is around 46". The tomcat 3 is the last of the H-riser bows. Tomcat 3 is also esp good because it has the modern k cams. Not sure about the tomcat 2. Maybe the older I kams, would need to look that up. The tomcats do not have true centershot. The Phantom and tomcat 2 are pretty much the same except centershot cutout and string ratings (phantom limbs rated for faster string) and the phantom2 and tomcat 3 same story.

Tomcats were basically the updated versions of the h250 - their budget line of bows.
Phantoms were the updated versions of the screaming eagle.

If the one for 80 is in good shape and the right draw length for you, it is easily worth $80 as a first sip of koolaid.

 

I have a tcII shoots just fine little on the heavy side after couple hours but I just stick the limb in my pocket. shot it for couple years and 1000s of shots and now finally snappd my first set of power cables.

 

If you dont want it,I can make ya $20 on it
