Wishin I was, everything here is fubar'd rivers lakes creeks and mud puddles. Would be up for a road trip but not too easy to pull off on unfamiliar waters.
Don't take it wrong, we are trying new waters every week and I love it, it's just hard to pull out an go 2 states over and find out the lake you are going to is bad muddy or has an ordinance that don't allow gennys. We are going to a lake that does not have a good reputation for bowfishing buy we are giving a try anyways.
Yes it's definitely been fubared this year I prefer normal pool. Everywhere we want to go has been dumped on within the last 8 days but we are going to travel south tomorrow and work are way towards home till we find some decent looking water.
Lol..... Possible if you can find the ramp. I just wanna see your newbie get pulled overboard by a BIG ray, good way to break him in and pop his bowfishing cherry,or watch in amazement as he misses a swimming car hood at point blank range
we will see.... everyone takes longer to get the hang of it... theres always an open spot for boat driver on my boat if he misses too much lol.. he aint complete newbie, mighta shot one other time now that I think about it... we shall see
Well pack up your bags and head up to Wisconsin for the BAA Worlds next weekend. The water levels have been normal and the weather forecast looks promising. Look forward to putting the smack down on some fish.
Couple pics from today, was rough and overcast most of the day but did manage to get 16 rays total, 13 cownose and 3 southerns
And something new that have never seen before, the one ray we brought into the boat had a little Remora stuck to it, we took some quik pics and set it free but never actually seen one before.
Had a good time and at least you got a decent sized southern, and were rough conditions today. We will have to try it again and hopefully will be a better trip, have a safe trip home glad you made it down and hot to shoot with you guys
Me and a buddy headed out in just a few had some storms to pass earlier and should be clear rest of the night heard some big cats are up so hopefully we will get on fish but either way we are on the water having a good time is all that matters! get to clear head and get away from all of lifes frustrations for a bit!
Well we just got off the water started out slow ended up decent shot a bunch of buff pulled out of a big buff guessing around 45 pounds and pulled out of a grassy around 35 pounds
Dang weather is killing me...either overcast or raining. Such is the life of a daytime bowfisher.
