Ok so I've done some research on here and have gotten some conflicting answers so hopefully you guys can help me sort it out. I have a 24v troller, 2 marine batteries, 12 27watt leds from customfitz and a Honda eu2000 generator. Currently I run the troller off of the batteries and the leds off of the 12v port on the generator. The problem I have is I don't have enough time to charge the troller between trips.
Here are my questions:
1 can I run the Leds on a 24v system?
2 if I run everything off of the batteries can I hook the batteries up to the generator through a converter?
3 Could a converter cook my batteries?
4 any thoughts on how to have this set up better without spending a lot of money?
